-- Dave Chapman's Complete Short Story --

One day, granny was planting some carrots at the bottom of the garden in some teacups…. BUT coming over the rooftops was a ninja BANANA riding a pretty sweet motorbike! Now this banana had a…ahem.. knack for surreptitiously stealing grannies flapjacks (not a euphemism). Granny had succeeded for many years of fending off the flapjack stealing banana menace by using her awesome Omnichord playing skills. Unfortunately earlier that day a pack of wolves, lead by a field mouse wielding bear had stolen said Omnichord, and now grannies flapjacks were ripe for the taking!

Granny though, had a backup plan, she hurried back into the kitchen, scaled the kitchen cabinets and hung from the lighting fixtures. Her internal balance and centring allowed her to act with perfect equipoise and timing, the banana would never see it coming!

The Ninja Banana however had anticipated that granny might have a backup plan, and sent in a tyrannosaurs rex to finish her once and for all. The tyrannosaurus rex entered the house and headed for the kitchen with the Banana following close behind. Quick as a flash, granny unsheathed her samurai sword and split old rex clean in two. As the body dropped to the floor it knocked the ninja banana off balance sending him flying into the oven. Banana flapjacks all round Granny exclaimed, shutting the oven door and settling down for a night in front of her flat screen tv.

Oh yeah and there was probably some Ice cream in the freezer too.
