30.03.12 The Forum - 'The New Subs Show'

Much like James Cameron, Jordan and Jamie trawl the bottom of the ocean for this week's New Subs! It's a pretty hectic show filled with shiny new music but there's still time for the odd rant with this question: "What can the UK do to change its broken, outdated gig-culture?" No definitive answer, but had some fun along the way. Also expect Jamie breaking into a cold sweat brought on by a Clannad-flashback, strange kids, apple pies, Jordan waving his fists and the correct pronunciation of the word "aural". 23.03.12 The Forum - 'Do's and Don'ts'

"Model" presenters they are not - Jordan and Jamie give you a crash-course this week in the world of radio "dos and don'ts" - it has been a loooooong week! Questions to The Forum: "Which venues are still magic, which have lost it, and why?" and "Can local music scenes thrive without band egos, in-fights and petty politics?". Nod to Daxy who wrote a fantastic response in the chatroom - an answer that covered both questions - the UK does not have a thriving "gig culture" - so, for next week, how can we re-educate gig-goers in this country? The Knights of the Octagon are already getting excited for next Friday! :) The Correspondents - What Happened to Soho The Men Who Will Not Be Blamed for Nothing - Victoria's Secret The Scratch - 88th Day of Rain The Corner Laughers - (Now That I Have You I'm) Bored Pepper And Shepherd - Settle Up The Hawk International - Snowed In The Metatrons - My Sympathy Rumour Cubes - Tempus Fugit The Electric Modern - Let's Get Away Rival Sons - Pressure & Time My Autumn Sons - Plain Look, Stranger! - If You're Listening Buz - Backbone Clean George IV - Real Men Take Speed Little Shadows - Is It Me That You're Thinking Of? 16.03.12 The Forum - 'Where are they now?'

On this week's Forum, Jordan and Jamie stay relatively on topic for once! The two main talking points of the evening are: Great venues that are no more and what are they now? Invariably we've found they're either supermarkets or coffee shops - some great responses from the chat room, twitter and Facebook. Also, in the second hour should technology be banned from gigs - no cameras, no phones, no updating facebook - just going to an event for it's own sake leaving people to remember it for how it made them feel not what images they have on a screen - again some great responses including one particularly well thought out message from Craig of Canvas Wall. 09.03.12 The Forum - 'Back in the Bunker'

It’s been a hectic week for TeamJTso they’re pretty pleased to be back in the bunker! Not only can you hear a double-whammy ofbrand new, “fresh out of the oven” tracks by Legend in Japan, expect: plans to cash-inat Christmas 2012, the "Trousers for Andy" appeal, time-bending gig lists fromthe last century, lots of Tracey, Jamie getting angry with cartoon plotlines, monk chants, Stop It & Tidy Up, listening to excuses, banning band photo-shoots in fields/ruins and a rather wonderfulpair of legs. 02.03.12 Live from Hackney Road - 'Abby Holden & Legend in Japan'

After viewing the statue of Prince Albert in Hyde Park, Jamie ponders the merits of painting himself gold, sitting on a plinth and surrounding himself with an angry crowd of plasticine figurines thus becoming a living monument to himself. Jordan thinks that the best thing to do in these circumstance is to give Jamie a ludicrously long cable and sends him off to chat to the fantastic artists hiding in the corridors of Mr Honest's Hackney Road Studios. First live set comes from Abby Holden (abbyholden.com) where she discusses her current single "Everything" (available from iTunes & Amazon now!), the new album, being re-acquainted with her JD and, after a little Jamie-infused confusion, the potential of a new concept album/side project called "Stranger Fiction". The second hour at Hackney Road sees a performance from the very exciting and very new Legend in Japan (www.reverbnation.com/legendinjapan). They've only been going for a couple of weeks but their momentum is unquestionably full throttle; much like Spinal Tap, they've already lost/killed a bassist. Shabby, Pyro and Martin show just what you can achieve in such a short space of time with some punk ethics and crazy energies. We don't think this will be the last your hear from them!!" 17.02.12 The Forum - 'Music matters'

On this week's Forum, Jordan and Jamie get closer to actually discussing music matters! They're joined in the studio by Chris from Feed Your Head (fyhmusic.com). From a very promising start including discussions on uncomfortable major label cash-ins based on tragedy (Whitney Houston album price-hikes) to the inner workings of the "Cowell machine" (courtesy of RR favourite Jon Gomm), to ignoring stunning music on your travels, Jamie still manages to bring discussion back down to the gutter by sharing a tale of a guy on a leash in Tesco Metro in Islington and an "unexpected item in the bagging area". It's Friday's Forum and Jamie fails once again to fill Al's boots. There's talk of festivals, snow, keytars, man-eating plants, Blue Peter badges, 1970s kids TV, and Jamie builds a snowman in the space of two records (although Jordan is adamant it looks more like Jabba the Hutt). 27.01.12 The Forum - 'Musical Oddities'

Jamie's taken over the playlist from RR producer-type legend Alex and he's admittedly a little apprehensive.  Music, however, is the least of their worries as Jamie asks difficult conspiracy related theories about the beautiful peeps who work at the Cult of Jobs, Jordan continues to be moved by folding Ross Kemp's face and there are daft ads a plenty courtesy of Emma Clarke ( http://www.emmaclarke.com/fun/create-your-own-voiceover ).  At least they didn't break anything this week and Jamie did remember to talk about at least a couple of tenuously linked musical oddities. 1. Hosted by Jordan Thomas and Jamie Tayler. Welcome back to the 'New Subs Show', now for those who are new to Recharged Radio, 'The New Subs Show' is traditionally the show in which resident music guru Alex Watson sifts through the musical submissions for the months and presents it in a nice 2 hour parcel. 13.01.12 The Forum - 'We Are Back'

So, the first Forum for 2012 takes place on Friday 13th. However, in not very scary fashion... nothing odd happened... not at all spooky. Anyway, Jamie and Jordan take Celine Dion to pieces (not literally, that would be weird), discuss the musical goings on of the week and get knocked off their high horse by a regular listener and Rhianna (thankfully, not in person). With music from MC Elemental, The October Game and Zoo Zero, a good time was had by all!'
